Jack Daniel won his 6th professional fight in impressive style on Saturday 7th December in Bolton. Jack won every round against the experienced Jose Agular winning 40-36 on points. Jack's record now stands at 6-0. Well done Jack. Everyone at Gipton Boxing Club is proud of you.

KASHIF

Kashif of Gipton Boxing Club made an excellent start to his amateur career on Sharky's show at TJs in Woodhouse on Friday night. Kash boxed a skills contest against a well schooled fighter from Tiger's gym in Meanwood. Coaches Terry Kavanagh (pictured), Franco Fitzgerald (pictured) and Paul Daniel were in attendance and were very pleased with Kash's performance. Kash's next bout will be this Weds 16/10/19 at Seacroft Working Mens Club.

JACK

Jack Daniel won his 5th professional fight in style at the Leeds arena on Saturday against the heavier Jamie Speight who was a veteran of over 50 fights. Jack started very strongly and scored a heavy knock-down (pictured) in the second round before going on to win 40-35 on points. Jack will be looking to build on this win with another bout soon.

Gipton boxers Jack Daniel & Kashif are both in action this coming weekend. Kashif is on the bill at Sharkey's show at TJs in Woodhouse on Friday night and Jack is featuring at the Leeds Arena on Saturday night on the Josh Warrington undercard. Both boxers have been training hard at Gipton Boxing Club and are looking forward to kicking off their seasons in style. A massive congratulations to former Gipton Amateur Boxer Jack Daniel, won his 4th professional fight on Saturday 22nd June at Doncaster racecourse.
Jack beat the experienced and tough Brett Fidoe, winning every round on the way to a 40-36 points victory in the Featherweight division. The coaches and boxers from Gipton Boxing Club were in attendance to cheer Jack on in his latest outing which takes Jack to 4 wins out of 4. Jack is expected to be back in the ring in October.

JACK DANIEL

Jack is moving from Amateur boxing to Professional boxing. His debut contest is taking place on the 21st October at the First Direct Arena in Leeds.

Jack has been training at our gym in Gipton for the last two years. Paul Daniel, Jacks dad is a boxing coach at our gym. Paul has coached his son boxing since he was a little boy. Jack went on to be become the Amateur Boxing Association Yorkshire and England Champion.

Paul and our other coaches are already on the lookout for the next new boxers of the future. We would like to wish Jack the best of luck at his first contest, and to say we are proud of you

KASHIF HUSSAIN

Kashif Hussain is boxing this Saturday 14th December in a 3 round bout against Catterick's Sam Simpson. Good luck Kashif from all of us here at Gipton Boxing Club

Gipton Amateur Boxing Club’s Kash Hussain had his first competitive bout on Sharky’s show in Hunslet on Saturday 14th December. The bout was competitive and Kash boxed very well, but the judges gave the win to his opponent, Sam Simpson from Catterick. Sharky was very complementary about Kash’s performance and invited him to box on his next show in January at TJs.

 

All of the Gipton coaches were in attendance along with Kash’s friends and family.

 

Well done Kash, we all look forward to seeing you in the gym and boxing again soon.
